Dave started Hunterston Homes Ltd in 1990 and has seen it through many changes over the years.
Through out these years, the strength of the company has always been with all of those who have worked with it to create the beautiful homes that we are know for.
Dave Koster
Thor started working for Hunterston Homes Ltd in 1995 and received his carpentry ticket in 2002.
Having finished the top of his class he went on to win the top carpentry apprentice price for all of Canada in that year. Thor’s attention to every detail in the whole building process makes him a tremendous asset to the company.
Thor Bongertman
Zak Sebelius
Zak Sebalius has been working with Hunterston Homes Ltd for over a decade. Born and raised on Galiano Island, he brings a strong understanding of local conditions and building practices.
Zak has worked as a carpenter for more than 20 years, operating independently before joining the Hunterston team. Over that time, he has contributed to a wide range of residential projects across the island.
Dale Cadieux
Dale joined our team at Hunterston Homes Ltd in 2011 and earned his carpentry ticket in 2014.
Dale’s years of experience from farming and building in northern Alberta have given him a very practical experience for figuring out ways to approach different challenges we encounter with some of our projects.
Our Workforce
Beyond our senior carpenters, Hunterston Homes is supported by a dedicated crew of apprentices, labourers, and skilled trades. Our senior team oversees each project closely, ensuring work is coordinated, timelines are maintained, and quality standards are upheld at every stage of construction.
